Situated
in the Toontown fair area, an Orlando Florida
attraction, Mickey's Country House is a vibrantly
painted yellow affair, furnished with props that
will be very familiar to Disney cartoon fans.
Mickey's Judges Outfit, tidily
pressed, hangs in the coatrack for instance.
The house shows abundance of substantiation
of latest visits by Donald and Goofy, particularly
in the Kitchen area where they have attempted
(ineffectively) to re-model the room. |
Outside the house, the small garden area has a variety
of entertaining plants, such as huge vegetables all
decorated with their own "Mickey Ears", some
interesting topiary features, and of course Pluto's
Doghouse.
The Judge's Tent at the rear of Mickey's House is
generally a good place to meet and have your snap
taken with Mickey or Minnie, after you've sat through
the all too familiar pre-show video, which now shows
glimpses of Mickey's county fair successes.
The
Walt Disney World Railroad is one of the best
ways to get an idea of the scale of The Magic
Kingdom, and to view behind the scenes of some
of the theme park attractions.
It takes visitors on an unhurried
tour of the outskirts of the Magic Kingdom theme
park on a circular track that runs for around
a mile and a half, stopping at the Main Street
Station, Frontierland, and Mickey's Toontown
Fair.
An entire circuit of the theme
park on the railroad will take approximately
21 minutes, and with up to four trains running,
there should be a train every 4 to 7 minutes. |

Each of the four trains was originally built in America
around the turn of the 20th century, and was later
shipped to Mexico to tow passengers and cargo trains
in Yucatan.
They were positioned by Disney scouts
in 1969, where they were bought from the Yucatan United
Railways and shipped to Florida for complete renovation
and use on The Walt Disney World Railroad.
Note that there are some visitor lockers situated
beneath the Train Station, which visitors can use
to steadily leave personal items, or souvenirs to
save carrying them around the park.
Other Walt Disney attractions are- the Barnstormer
at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm, Donald's Boat, Minnie's
Country House, Toontown Hall of Fame, County Bounty,
Farmers Market etc.
